COMMAND MOBILITY RETURN POLICY

At Command Mobility, our number one priority is helping you select the right products. However, you may occasionally receive a product that doesn’t work for you. In that case, you may need to return an item, and our policy and procedures are as follows:

Most items are returnable for a full refund of the item price, as long as they are returned within 30 days of your receipt. As you might expect, they must have their original packaging and be unused. The exceptions to the above are that all cushions have a 15% restocking fee, all power chairs have a 10% restocking fee and ultra lightweight wheelchairs, sport wheelchairs, and any custom-ordered item such as lift chairs are non-returnable. These non-returnable products are custom-produced by the manufacturers and are unable to be returned.  For any non-returnable items or items with re-stock fees you will be notified at the time you place your order.

Please save all packaging and accessories for any item that is returned to Command Mobility. All original equipment, components, manuals, cables, documents, and packaging must be returned with your item in order for Command Mobility to process your RA (Returned Agreement).  An item returned for a replacement may be repaired or replaced at Command Mobility's discretion, unless otherwise required by law.  Products with specific refund and return policies and deadlines must be returned within the time periods specified for each item.  All items sold through Command Mobility are subject to our Policy and Agreement.  Physically damaged items cannot be returned.

Standard Command Mobility Return Policy

Products sold by Command Mobility are covered by our Standard Return Policy, unless otherwise indicated. Merchandise under our Standard Return Policy may be returned within 30 days of the original invoice date for a refund, or within one year of the original invoice date for a replacement. Many manufacturers offer additional factory coverage; you should contact the manufacturer of your item directly for information regarding eligibility and specific Terms and Conditions.

 

Limited 30-Day Command Mobility Return Policy

 

Products that state: "This item may be returned for a replacement or refund within 30 days only" must be returned to Command Mobility within 30 days of the invoice date.  

Products in this category that are labeled as Non-Refundable (or similar labeling) may only be returned for a replacement.

 

Manufacturer's (End-User) Warranties

 

Command Mobility does not offer any express warranties.  However, many of the products available through Command Mobility are covered by Manufacturers' Warranties.  If a product is covered by a manufacturer's warranty, it will be stated on that product's web page.  Manufacturers' warranty details are typically available at the manufacturer's website; click here to see a list of the manufacturers whose items we carry.  Manufacturers' warranties can also be obtained for free by contacting our Customer Service department.  Please note that products in this category are non-refundable unless otherwise indicated.  

Products that state: "This item can be returned to the product manufacturer only" must be returned directly to the product manufacturer for repair or replacement, unless otherwise required by law.  For these items, the warranty policy from the product manufacturer explicitly requires that any returns, repairs etc. be requested and processed directly by the consumer (or "end-user") of the item.  More specific Command Mobility return policies are designated for the item categories listed below:
  

COMMAND MOBILITY RETURN POLICY FOR MANUFACTURER (END-USER) WARRANTY ITEMS:

Retail Scooters, Power Chairs

·                     Refund period: 7 days from the original invoice date.

·                     Replacement period: 30 days from original invoice date.

 

Additional Notes Regarding Scooters and Power Chairs

·                     Buyers requesting a refund may have to pay a 15% restocking fee.

·                     Command Mobility will not cross-ship replacement Scooters or Power Chairs.

·                     Physically damaged Scooters or Power Chairs cannot be returned to Command Mobility, including physical damage due to improper use.

 

Raised Toilet Seats and Shower Chairs

·                     Raised Toilet Seats and Shower Chairs are not returnable to Command Mobility. 

 

Consumable Items

·                     Consumable items such as Shower Grab Bars, Urinals, Inflatable Ring Cushions, and Hand Showers may only be returned if the product is unopened.  

 

Used Items Sold “as is”

Command Mobility occasionally sells items that are listed as “slightly used."  Because these items are sold at greatly reduced prices, they bear a limited 15-day refund-only return policy through Command Mobility.  Command Mobility cannot provide replacement service for these items, as their stock is limited.  The entire risk as to the quality and performance of these items is with the buyer.  These items have been tested for functionality, but may have superficial physical defects including (but not limited to) scratches, dings or dents.  Should these items prove defective following their purchase, the buyer (not the manufacturer, distributor, or Command Mobility) assumes the entire cost of all necessary servicing or repairs, unless otherwise required by law.  These items are not covered by our 30-day satisfaction guarantee. Normally, "slightly used" items are NOT offered with Medicare coverage.

 How to Return an Item:

To return an item, please call us at 1-800-790-5769 for the all-important RA (Return Agreement) number. You can also email us at info@commandmobility.com Please include your order number, name, the item number for the item you are returning. We will then contact you with a RA Number and shipping instructions for your return. We will also help you determine the best method for shipping your return. PLEASE DO NOT SEND A PACKAGE BACK WITHOUT AN RA! To receive full credit, items must be shipped within 10 days from the day the RA Number and shipping information were provided.

If an order is cancelled once the item has shipped, our standard return policy applies.  You will need to accept delivery of the item, obtain an RA Number and ship the item back.  If delivery of an item is refused, the return shipping costs will be deducted from the issued credit.  Second-Day and Next-Day shipping costs will not be credited if delivery of the item is refused.

Once the item is received we will credit the credit card used for the purchase. If you paid by check or money order, we will issue a check within two weeks.

Of course, if any item is defective, or was damaged in shipping, please call us at 1-800-790-5769 or email us at info@commandmobility.com. We will arrange for the item to be picked up and exchanged for a replacement.
